Working on finishing up the last wedding of 2013 and just had to share some of my favorites (which all happen to be shot on film of course! 🙂 )
The November weather cooperated with us and made a beautiful fall wedding day in rural Illinois. I especially loved the laid back atmosphere of the getting ready that morning- Kelsey went with my advice and set up her hair and make-up in front of the huge window–which happened to be in the living room. This not only made gorgeous lighting for pictures, but made the preparation a friends and family affair where everyone could lounge around and chat together which was really neat.
Oh, and another bonus of the living room – it had a gorgeous dark-stained antique piano in it…which I just had to incorporate as the backdrop of Kelsey’s jewelry/shoes details!
