ThisĀ cute family contacted me with the sweetest idea in mind – you see, they are getting ready to uproot their lives from St. Louis and move out west to Montana; so it was important for them to capture not only ‘them in the now’, but also the place which they have loved dearly for the last several years. Their front steps, their neighborhood, Tower Grove Park in full bloom nearby, that same walk down a few blocks to their favorite coffee shop to get a bite to eat on Saturday mornings…
If I’m being honest, I wouldn’t glamorize St. Louis so much, but that day you would have thought I had stepped into a ‘Truman Show’ neighborhood as I got out of the car arriving at their home. It was the first beautiful spring day of this year – the one where there’s no bugs yet, no humidity yet, the trees are showing off their colorful blooms, and it’s a perfect 72 degrees. I was greeted by the cutest little soon-to-be 4 yr. old, and within the first 10 min., shown many dinosaur impressions and was personally invited to go with him to his friend’s birthday party later that day, haha š And ya know what, I actually saw St. Louis as the perfect little paradiseĀ that day.
