This dream of a photoshoot has been on my mind for a long time. When I planned to go visit my sister in Florida during spring break, I knew that I just had to seize the opportunity and find a cute couple that would be willing to model for me on the beach for an all-film shoot! And lucky for me, my brother-in-law is a youth pastor, so finding young couples they know isn’t too hard to do. They got me in touch with Tarin & Tate who jumped on board with the idea and did an amazing job modeling!
It kind of did feel a bit like paradise for me; I mean for one, the beach is probably my favorite spots to hang out in the world. The beauty, smell of the ocean, sound of the waves crashing…it’s hard to beat. So I was already in my happy place just getting to hang out at a beautiful beach. But then add in the fact that I had medium format film in hand and a gorgeous couple to model for me, and I was in geeky artist’s heaven! 🙂 I highly recommend Lover’s Key State Park’s beach. We chose it for a not-so-crowded location during spring break, but it turned out to be so much better with the added natural beauty of the saltwater plants & forest of driftwood trees!
