Oh. my. goodness. Somebody pinch me.
As I mentioned, Rebecca & Josh won my destination wedding contest from last year. Their unique love story, their plans for a gorgeous outdoor wedding, and of course the prospect of getting to visit Seattle all won me over. Rebecca described her vision of a sophisticated white-tie formal British affair at a winery, but I have to admit, I had no idea just how stunning it would be. JM Cellars is nestled up on a hill surrounded by a mossy forest & spanning wine country. It was the perfect location to show off Washington’s lush landscape. And then Maris Events worked their magic (and blew us all away, I might add!) to create this amazing, colorful, exquisite setting of posh elegance and dreamy florals. It felt straight out of a fancy magazine…oh, and just to add to the perfect dream of it all – it rained every single day of our visit leading up to and after, but not a single drop on the wedding day.
Just so you know, I really do have a normal life where things go wrong…(like having my cell phone fall out of my pocket into a waterfall during this trip!)…but when a perfect day comes along like this, you soak up every second and revel in it!
