Kirsten & Patrick

When I first met with Kirsten, I knew right off the bat we were on the same page. This girl knows good aesthetic, but appreciates simplicity – love that. What is usually a 1 hour meeting turned into almost 2 as we sipped our drinks and chatted on a coffee shop patio on a warm afternoon. I always love to hear my couples’ love story – how they met, fell in love, and the proposal, but in addition to that we filled up the other hour chatting about the amazing plans these two had.
Kirsten is an interior designer (so yeah, loved chatting about that!) and she and Patrick are living their dream renovating this amazing historic home in St. Louis. And if they aren’t just cool enough, they are also big believers in urban farming (we’re talking not only a veggie garden, but also bees in the side yard!). And now that you’ve seen their wedding, you can probably guess that I was floored to hear they planned the reception in the side yard complete with local caterers & food trucks! Needless to say, it was awesome to see another creative’s vision come to life on their wedding day and be able to capture it all.
